In our refugee community here on the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, our feeding program is thriving. Each child brings their own bowl and spoon unless they don’t have one. Our program provides for everyone to eat but today, our group of 33 children are sharing 14 spoons and runny noses. There are lessons being Learned yet frequently folks ask me how they can help. In the thrift market here spoons sell for about 20 cents. If you are feeling this is a direction in which you would like to help, you can Venmo me and we will bulk up our spoon count. @Chet-ThomasACTNow
