When its time to get your wares to market, sometimes the only way is by foot, Dieudonne here is just finishing up her 38 mile, overnight walk to market. As a single mom, she has left her 8 kids at home alone and when she is done selling, hopefully for a profit, she will purchase what she needs for home and walk back home. Because of our partner Sene’s free community school, her kids no longer have to fend for themselves for two days while she takes care of her family financially in the the best way she can. This community outreach is developing a culture where child trafficking is being abolished through education. It is initiatives like this that ACT seeks out and supports.
